Avatar Item Mission Bonus Math Guide
Note: The Avatar Items covered in this guide only have effects on missions. This guide will not cover "The Annihilator".
Please let me know if you see something wrong or you found a better way to do it. The math is sound from testing so far (no irregularities or hiccups). I'll start off with what the items are and move from there..

Experience Bonus:
(Bonus Experience) = ((Mission Experience Won)*(Item Bonus))*(√(MOB SIZE + TOP MOB))
Example Mission: (Tank/Raid National Guard Armory):
.38 Special: (381) = ((320)*(1%))*(√(14168))
8-Gauge Shotgun: (762) = ((320)*(2%))*(√(14168))
In words:
You take Bonus% of Experience won and multiply that by the Square Root of your Total Mob and that equals your Avatar Item Bonus
Money Bonus:
(Bonus Money) = ((Mission Money Won)*(Item Bonus))*(√(MOB SIZE + TOP MOB))
Example Mission: (Mob Wars!):
Louisville Slugger: ($5,892,583) = (($4,948,781)*(1%))*(√(14170))
Example Mission: (Revolution in Central America):
Type 56 Assault Rifle: ($630,402,025) = (($89,648,996)*(5%))*(√(19779))
In words:
You take Bonus% of Money won and multiply that by the Square Root of your Total Mob and that equals your Avatar Item Bonus
Total Mission Payout:
(Total Mission Experience) = (Bonus Experience) + (Regular Mission Experience Payout)
Example Mission: (Tank/Raid National Guard Armory):
Experience: (1082 XP) = (762) + (320)
In words:
You take the Bonus XP won and add it to the Mission's Regular XP Payout and that equals your Total Mission Experience Payout.
(Total Mission Money) = (Bonus Money) + (Regular Mission Money Payout)
Example Mission: (Revolution in Central America):
Money: ($720,051,021) = ($630,402,025) + ($89,648,996)
In words:
You take the Bonus$ won and add it to the Mission's Regular$ Payout and that equals your Total Mission Money Payout.

Here is a google spreadsheet with some examples(updated - 7/16/09):
Mob/Exp/$/Bonus
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The first thing you should about the math know is that you don't add the 2%/1% of experience/money in anyway to get the bonus. The % is a multiplier. This explains why when you have a 2% bonus, you get a 100% increase in the bonus reward.

Will this be Capped by the Godfather? Maybe not.....
If you are wondering how can this be? This bonus is awesome and can
theoretically give me "unlimited" experience and money! Don't get too excited yet, the Godfather could cap the bonus, but here is why I don't think he will:
In a way these bonuses are already capped. Let's look at the math....
(I will use experience in these examples)
Let's say you have a mobster with 2500 mob.
(√(2500)) = 50
Now you worked hard and got to 14170 mob members now.
(√(14170)) = ~119
Now, the 2% multiplier of the Tank mission is 6.4
(6.4)*(50) = 320
(6.4)*(~119) = 762
So just looking at that, you can see that
14170 is ~5.6x larger than 2500, but the
experience bonus is only ~2.38x larger....
In a way, by using the SQRT of your total mob, the Godfather has put
exponentially diminishing returns on increasing your mob size for more bonus.
